The Infosys here organised a full-day ‘Women in Technology’ event at the Infocity campus as a precursor to the celebration of the International Women's Day on March 8.
An inter-location technical road show cum contest “Mavens and Mavericks” was organised. There were 11 teams travelling from various Infosys locations to participate in the event and showcase their technical solutions. About 30 participants demonstrated innovative solutions around Cloud, Machine Learning, Chat Bots, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Image Search in e-Commerce and Alexa Smart Speaker, etc.
The road show was inaugurated by Infosys Bhubaneswar Centre Head and AVP, Prabhat Kumar Das, who welcomed the team to the event. Senior members from the Development Centre, Debasis Tripathy, Principal Technology Architect, Mousumi Mishra, Group Project Manager, Rashmi Vishwakarma, AVP and Senior Group Manager and Subhankar Paul, Delivery Manager evaluated each solution and declared the winners.
The National HRD Network, Bhubaneswar Chapter event titled 'WPOWER 2019' was organized on the sidelines. Close to 85 participants from different organisations participated in this one-day workshop, which was based on the International Women’s Day theme of ‘Think Equal, Build Smart, Innovate for Change’.
